After moving from the Scottish highlands to Edinburgh to complete a degree in Tourism Management I founded my own tour company in 2018. My thesis paper focused on Scottish film tourism with Harry Potter films and the TV series, Outlander being a primary theme. recently I just gained my tour guide qualification from Aberdeen University in North-East Scotland: History, Landscape and Culture.
I specialise in small group and private tours, I feel this offers a more personal experience and strays away from the large corporate tour companies.
My passions are Edinburgh history, especially social history and I have extensively researched the history behind the Scottish Witchcraft panics and the turbulent life of Mary Queen of Scots.
All of my tours are written, meticulously and wholeheartedly researched and I hope to see on Edinburgh’s cobblestones soon.
